S&P Global Ratings affirmed its "BBB-" rating on Columbus (Ga.) Regional Healthcare System's $104.3 million revenue anticipation certificates.
Concurrently, S&P revised the outlook on Columbus Regional Healthcare System's outlook to positive from stable.
"The positive outlook reflects Columbus Regional's strengthening overall financial performance driven by inpatient volume and market share increases as well as management's keen attention to cost control and revenue enhancement initiatives," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Cynthia Keller. "We expect that if these trends continue, we could raise our rating on Columbus Regional to 'BBB' despite elevated debt-related metrics."
