Concurrently, S&P affirmed its long-term and underlying “AA-” rating on the medical center.
“The rating reflects our view that as Parkview executes on its strategic plan, which includes spending capital to further expand Parkview Regional Medical Center, balance sheet metrics will decline no further, and operations will be sustained,” said S&P credit analyst Brian Williamson.
The outlook is stable, reflecting S&P’s expectation that Parkview will continue to invest capital and solidify its strategic plan to remain a leader in healthcare.
