According to the report, Bradley Hospital is in a contract with the city’s education department to provide medical services to special education students. East Providence School Committee Chairman Charles Tsonos blames the previous administration’s poor budgeting and spending habits for the overdue payments.
The school committee has submitted to the state a payment plan that could possibly eliminate the debt owed within three to five years.
