Here are three things to know about the transaction.

1. HealthCare Revenue Strategies, based in Boston, offers revenue cycle consulting, analytics and workflow solutions. The company’s RemitWeb analytics solution is designed to provide denial management solutions.

2. “RevSpring focuses on patient engagement solutions to better manage self-pay receivables. The addition of denial management solutions is a natural extension of the emerge™ platform giving healthcare providers an integrated way to improve self-pay and third party receivables. RemitWeb’s analytics pertaining to claims data will play a critical role in helping us to define what a patient owes at the time of service,” said Tim Schriner, RevSpring’s CEO and president.

3. HealthCare Revenue Strategies will operate as a stand-alone subsidiary of RevSpring.
