HHS Releases Ratings for Medicare Advantage, Drug Plans

HHS has released its 2013 quality ratings for Medicare Advantage health and prescription drug plans, noting that the overall quality rankings of the plans are improving.

According to HHS, Medicare beneficiaries will now have access to 127 four- or five-star Medicare Advantage plans, up from 106 in 2012. Beneficiaries also now have access to 26 four- or five-star prescription drug plans, up from 13 four- or five-star plans last year.
