The joint venture is named Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Advantage. Its goal is to improve the quality of patient care and enhancing wellness management and affordability for people enrolled in Medicare.
BCBSAZ Advantage will include Medicare Advantage plans currently operated by Banner MediSun Medicare Health Plan.
Through the joint venture, the companies estimate they will be serving 25,000 Medicare Advantage enrollees.
