NYU Langone reports increased positive operating income

New York City-based NYU Langone Health posted improved operating income for fiscal 2022.

While non-operating items such as its endowment distribution brought the overall net income down, the system’s operating income for the period ended Aug. 31 increased by more than 4 percent to total $619.2 million.

Overall income totaled almost $358 million compared with $747.1 million in 2021. Days of cash on hand decreased to 149 from 183.
