Moody’s withdraws ratings on Montefiore Medical Center’s prior bond

Moody’s Investors Service has withdrawn its ratings on Bronx, N.Y.-based Montefiore Medical Center’s prior bonds because their full outstanding balances have been legally defeased or redeemed.

FHA-insured Mortgage Hospital Revenue Bonds were redeemed Sept. 6, 2018, and three GNMA Collateralized Taxable Revenue Bonds were defeased and withdrawn Aug. 13, 2018.

Moody’s has not assigned ratings to the Escrow Deposit Agreements underlying the defeasance.
