Moody’s downgrades Baxter Regional Medical Center to ‘Baa3’

Moody’s Investors Service downgraded its rating for Mountain Home, Ark.-based Baxter Regional Medical Center from “Baa2” to “Baa3,” affecting $43.7 million of rated debt.

The downgrade reflects Moody’s expectation that Baxter will maintain margins at a lower level, and liquidity will grow slowly.

The rating outlook has been revised from negative to stable.
