Moody’s affirms Aspen Valley Hospital District’s ‘Baa2’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the “Baa2” revenue bond rating on Aspen (Colo.) Valley Hospital District’s $19.5 million of series 2012 and series 2007 bonds.

The rating affirmation was based on a number of factors, including AVHD’s continued strong financial performance and location in a favorable service area.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s expectation of continued strong financial performance and favorable liquidity levels as the hospital continues to complete its master facilities plan and exhibits fundraising capabilities.
