The affirmation is a result of several factors, including the health system’s moderate debt load, healthy operating performance and favorable payer mix. Moody’s unfavorably viewed Bellin Memorial’s light liquidity metrics and small size.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s expectation that the health system will maintain its healthy operating performance to support good debt coverage and support liquidity growth.
