Moody’s affirms ‘A2’ rating for Lakeland Regional Health System

Moody’s Investors Service affirmed its “A2′ rating for Lakeland (Fla.) Regional Health System, affecting $298 million of debt.

The rating reflects the system’s good financial performance, which will improve along with its liquidity as Lakeland Regional recently completed construction of a patient pavilion and installed a revenue cycle system in line with its electronic medical record.

The rating outlook is stable.
