Tampa, Fla.-based Moffitt Cancer Center recorded an operating income of $63.7 million (7.3% operating margin) during the third quarter of fiscal 2026, up from $40.2 million (5.2% margin) during the same period last year, according to its May 6 financial report.
For the three months ended March 31, Moffitt reported total operating revenue of $868.4 million, a 12.8% increase year over year. Patient service revenue increased 12.4% to $746.8 million.
Total operating expenses were $804.7 million in the third quarter of 2026, a 10.2% increase year over year. Salaries, wages and benefits increased 10.3% to $357.9 million. Supply expenses increased 11.6% year over year to $312.2 million. Purchased services increased 10.5% to $64.4 million.
Moffitt reported a net income of $60.9 million in the third quarter of 2026, up from $52.4 million during the same period last year.
For the nine months ended March 31, Moffitt reported an operating income of $174.8 million (6.9% operating margin), up from $73.7 million (3.4% margin) during the same period last year.
