ZeOmega’s Jiva is a population health management solution offered to accountable care organizations and health plans. By combining McKesson’s InterQual Connect software with Jiva’s platform, health plans and providers have the ability to automate their medical review and preauthorization processes. This reduces tedious administrative work, lowers costs and speeds authorization for payers and providers while ensuring appropriate care.

In a prepared statement, Nilo Mehrabian, vice president of product management and decision management at McKesson, said, “Bringing InterQual Connect to Jiva means ZeOmega’s customers can streamline their workflow with the integrated medical review and enhanced automation authorization. Making utilization management more efficient is crucial for a world increasingly moving toward value-based care.”
