The survey revealed people with higher deductibles are more likely to seek price information before getting care. Sixty-seven percent of those with deductibles between $500 and $3,000 had sought price information before receiving care, while 74 percent of those with deductibles higher than $3,000 had.
The survey results were based on responses from 2,010 American adults from July 29, 2014, to Aug. 21, 2014.
