The $500,000 donation is the largest single donation given to the hospital and is part of a multiyear campaign to enhance the current breast health center, which will be named after the couple.
“This generous lead gift is pivotal for us to continue to provide cutting-edge cancer services that help our patients, both physically and emotionally,” Bryce Helgerson, president of Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, said in a news release.
