Kodiak Solutions has completed its acquisition of revenue integrity and reimbursement services firm Besler & Company.
The acquisition will bolster the Kodiak platform that hospitals, health systems and medical practices use for net revenue reporting, revenue cycle benchmarking, analytics and healthcare business office automations, according to a Jan. 26 news release.
Besler brings new automation and managed service options to Kodiak customers, including transfer diagnosis related group software, which is used for detecting Medicare underpayments.
Several Besler subject-matter experts have joined Kodiak as part of the acquisition, including Jonathan Besler, who served as president and CEO of the firm. He will become a vice president at Kodiak.
Besler founder Philip Besler, who most recently served as the company’s chairman, will retire.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
