Mr. Franko’s more than 25 years in hospital finance and experience in developing joint ventures is expected to be an asset in his new role, announced just this month. He has served as CFO in four other hospitals and health systems: Regional Hospital of Scranton (Pa.), Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock, Pa., Special Care Hospital in Nanticoke, Pa., and Mercy Health Partners based in Muskegon, Mich.
Mr. Franko, a CPA, earned both his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his MBA in finance from the University of Scranton.
