Dubuque, Iowa-based Grand River Medical Group laid off 52 employees Feb. 1, according to an Iowa WARN notice filed Feb. 1.
The medical group comprises more than 375 employees, including more than 65 physicians and advanced practice professionals. It features nine locations across Dubuque, along with four dialysis units, according to its website.
“Grand River Medical Group confirms there was a one-time reduction in our workforce,” a spokesperson for Grand River Medical Group said in a statement shared with Becker’s. “This has not and will not affect patient care. We will have no further comments on this topic.”
