HSHS outsourcing RCM

Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System has selected Ensemble Health Partners for an end-to-end revenue cycle partnership.

About 700 HSHS employees will become Ensemble employees as part of the agreement, a health system spokesperson told Becker’s.  

“This partnership is about bringing the best tools, technologies and resources to colleagues involved in this important work,” HSHS Senior Vice President and CFO Michael Scialdone said in a Feb. 20 Ensemble news release. “Those colleagues will continue to bear good fruit for Hospital Sisters, allowing us to focus on delivering care to those who entrust us with their health.”  

The announcement comes shortly after Ensemble was named Best in KLAS for end-to-end revenue cycle outsourcing for the fifth time, according to the release. With its latest partnership, Ensemble now manages $39 billion in annual net patient revenue.
