In the latest round of grants, Delaware, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina and Vermont received one-year grants, and California, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, and Oregon received multiyear grants.
The District of Columbia, four territories and 49 states have received grants to plan their marketplaces. Alaska has not applied for the grants. States may continue to apply for grants through the end of 2014, the first year in which the exchanges will be operational.
