HCA’s TriStar Health plans $286M Tennessee hospital

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Health has shared plans to file a certificate of need application for a $286 million hospital in Clarksville, Tenn.

TriStar Clarksville Hospital would comprise 68 beds and 213,000 square feet, according to TriStar Health’s website

It would also feature a 42-bed medical and surgical unit, a 12-bed emergency room, a 10-bed labor and delivery unit, an eight-bed neonatal intensive care unit, an eight-bed level two neonatal intensive care unit, four operating rooms, two cardiac catheterization labs, imaging services and inpatient dialysis.

TriStar pointed to rapid growth in Clarksville as the reason behind plans for the full-service hospital and is asking for letters of support to advance the proposal.
