The tornadoes, which struck Nashville and other areas in Middle Tennessee March 3, damaged about 2,000 homes and buildings. Twenty-five people died because of the tornadoes.

Half of HCA’s donation will go to its community partners to assist long-term recovery efforts like rebuilding and repairing infrastructure. The other half will go to the Red Cross Southern Tornadoes and Floods Relief fund and other community organizations.
