For-profit hospital stock report: Week of April 22-26

Four major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest increase, 12.6 percent.

Here’s how the operators stacked up as of April 26:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.67 per share (up 12.6 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $125.55 per share (up 8.9 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $24.25 per share (up 3.6 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $129.23 per share (up 3.8 percent)
