Among the major for-profit hospital operators, Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health saw the greatest increase in share price at 3.4 percent.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.03 per share (down 3.1 percent)
- HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $97.46 per share (up 1.2 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $49.65 per share (up 3.4 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $24.10 per share (up 1.7 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $120.53 per share (up 0.7 percent)
