• Proctor Hospital (Peoria, Ill.) — from Ba1 to Ba2 (Moody’s)
• Stamford (Conn.) Hospital — from A to A- (S&P)
• Temple University Health System (Philadelphia) — from Baa3 to Ba1 (Moody’s)
• West Penn Allegheny Health System (Pittsburgh) — from B+ to B- (S&P)
In the same month-long span, six hospitals and health systems received credit upgrades. They include:
• Beebe Medical Center (Lewes, Del.) — from B- to B+ (S&P)
• Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic — from BBB+ to A- (S&P)
• Mount Sinai Medical Center (Miami) — from Baa3 to Baa2 (Moody’s)
• Olmsted Medical Center (Rochester, Minn.) — from BBB to BBB+ (Fitch)
• St. Peter’s Health Partners (Albany, N.Y.) — from Baa2 to A3 (Moody’s)
• Via Christi Health (Wichita, Kan.) — from A+ to AA- (S&P)
Three hospitals and health systems also had positive rating affirmation changes, while nine hospitals and health systems had negative rating affirmation changes.
