Fitch assigns ‘AA’ rating to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital’s bonds

Fitch Ratings has assigned an “AA” rating to Palo Alto, Calif.-based Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford’s $78.1 million of series 2016A revenue bonds and $100 million of series 2016B revenue bonds.

The rating assignment is based on several factors, including the hospital’s strong profitability and expanded market footprint.

The outlook is stable.
