Fitch affirms Pella Regional Health Center’s bond rating: 3 things to know

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the “BBB” rating assigned to $46.7 million of series 2006 revenue bonds issued on behalf of Pella (Iowa) Regional Health Center.

Here are three things to know about the rating assignment and the hospital’s outlook.

1. The rating assignment is supported by a number of factors, including PRHC’s balance sheet growth and consistent healthy cash flow. As a critical access hospital, PRHC receives enhanced Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, which has helped support robust operating profitability and consistent revenue growth, according to Fitch.

2. The rating assignment was also supported by the hospital’s leading market position.

3. PRHC’s outlook is stable.
