Fitch affirms ‘BBB+’ rating on Denver Health and Hospital Authority’s bonds

Fitch Ratings affirmed the “BBB+” rating on Denver Health and Hospital Authority’s approximately $279 million of bonds.

The bonds include:

  • Series 2007A
  • Series 2007B
  • Series 2009A
  • Series 2010
  • Series 2014A
  • Series 2014B

The ratings affirmation is based on a variety of factors, including the hospital authority’s declining financial profile, diminished liquidity position and elevated capital spending plan.

Fitch Ratings also revised the outlook to negative from stable.
