1. Banner Health reported revenue of nearly $7 billion in 2015, up from $5.4 billion the year prior. The Phoenix-based system ended 2015 with operating income of $128.4 million, down from $263.3 million in 2014.
2. Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System recorded revenue of $3.3 billion in 2015, up from $3 billion the year prior. The system posted operating income of nearly $284.7 million in 2015, up more than 7 percent from $265.9 million in 2014.
3. Indiana University Health reported revenue of $6.1 billion in 2015, up 6.5 percent from $5.7 billion in 2014. The Indianapolis-based system ended 2015 with operating income of $781.8 million, down from $795.3 million the year prior.
4. Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health posted revenue of nearly $1.4 billion in 2015, up slightly from about $1.3 billion the year prior. The system recorded operating income of $23.2 million in 2015, up 53 percent from $15.2 million in 2014.
5. Aurora Health Care reported revenue of $4.9 billion in 2015, up 4.5 percent from revenue of $4.7 billion in 2014. The Milwaukee-based system ended 2015 with operating income of $462.4 million, down 8 percent from the year prior.
