The annual survey of gifts, pledges and grants reveals that in the U.S. alone, funds to healthcare organizations increased by 5 percent to a total of $10.1 billion.

“During this time of unprecedented change in health care, extraordinary giving is so important to the care we provide to our communities every day…  [it is] encouraging because these dollars translate into life-saving technology, promising new research and the best possible care for our patient ” said Mark Larkin, AHP’s board member and president of the Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital Foundation.
