The hospital, which provides breast health services to about 30,000 patients a year, is looking to build a replacement facility for its aging breast health center.
Parkland Health officials set a goal of raising $40 million to fund the construction. With Hillcrest Foundation’s commitment, the fundraising campaign total reached $36 million.
The new facility, which will be named Moody Center for Breast Health after the lead donors of the campaign, is expected to open in 2021.
