The system will delay the filing by one week. The financial report was expected Sept. 27, but instead will be released Oct. 4.
“The delayed filing of the fourth-quarter results by one week was in the best interests of all stakeholders because it provided a complete set of financial statements. The slight delay also involved several other factors, including the size and complexity of the affiliation,” a spokesperson told Becker’s.
CommonSpirit Health was formed in February through the merger of Englewood, Colo-based Catholic Health Initiatives and San Francisco-based Dignity Health.
A spokesperson said the delay in fourth-quarter financials won’t cause the annual statement, which needs to be filed by Nov. 27, to be late.
