The donation will the hospital’s provide care for the most critically ill patients and ensure physicians, researchers and other staff members have the resources they need to do it.
With the latest donation, the Andersons have gifted more than $100 million to the hospital in the last three decades. The family previously gave $50 million to help build a patient care pavilion.

Their years of support and leadership helped Children’s Hospital Los Angeles save hundreds of thousands of lives,” said Paul Viviano, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles president and CEO. “Today, we are honored and humbled to receive this new gift that will continue their legacy of creating a better future for the children of this world.”
