The health system reported net income of $1.4 billion for the year ended June 30, compared with a $318 million gain the previous year.
Operating income in fiscal 2023 was $143.1 million, compared with $259.2 million in 2022. While revenues rose to almost $7.3 billion, overall expenses increased 6.6%, with salaries and benefits accounting for about half of the total at $3.6 billion.
