Atlanta, Milwaukee children’s hospitals get $15M donations

Milwaukee-based Children’s Wisconsin and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta both received $15 million donations on Jan. 27.

An anonymous donor pledged $15 million to Children’s Wisconsin, the largest single donation in its history. 

The pledge, which is a challenge gift, will be used to enhance mental and behavioral health services at the system and in the community.

Children’s Hospital of Atlanta received a $15 million gift from the Georgia Power Foundation to support construction of a hospital in North Druid Hills, Ga., set to open in 2025. It will sit on a 70-acre campus.
