Here are three things to know about the new brand identity.

1. Brent Johnson, Intalere president and CEO, said the new brand identity is in line with the organization’s vision. “The name, Intalere, derives from a Latin word that means ‘to nourish,'” he said in a prepared statement. “It signifies our vision of being the essential partner for operational excellence in healthcare through customized solutions that address customers’ individual needs by assisting in managing their entire non-labor spend, providing innovative technologies, products and services and leveraging the best practices of a provider-led model.”

2. Among Intalere’s core strategic business drivers are value-added services beyond contracting, as well as a committed portfolio product with best pricing.

3. The announcement of the new brand identity comes roughly six months after Utah-based Intermountain Healthcare acquired Amerinet.
