Altru joins North Dakota hospital collaborative

Grand Forks, N.D.-based Altru Health System has joined Rough Rider High Value Network, a now 23-independent hospital collaborative.

The collaborative has a combined $1.1 billion in collective revenue and comprises 23 hospitals and associated clinics throughout North Dakota, according to its website

"This collaboration strengthens our ability to provide integrated, high-quality care to our patients while reducing costs and improving outcomes," Josh Deere, MD, president of Altru Health System, said in a Jan. 29 news release. "By partnering with like-minded organizations, we are able to enhance our services and deliver even greater value to those who rely on us for their healthcare needs."

Members of the Rough Rider High Value Network share resources, data and best practices to ensure improved patient care. It supports value-based initiatives that align with patient and provider incentives.
