The decision comes after the hospital’s governing board decided on May 23 to transition to rural emergency hospital status, according to a July 10 post on the hospital’s Facebook page.
The hospital will continue to offer emergency services as well as clinical laboratory, diagnostic imaging, respiratory therapy, IV therapy, and outpatient surgery.
