Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health recorded an operating income of $824.4 million (4.4% operating margin) in the first half of 2025, up from $449.9 million (2.7%) during the same period last year, according to its Aug. 29 financial report.
The system reported total revenue of $18.8 billion for the six months ended June 30, up from $16.7 billion during the same period last year. Patient service revenue totaled $15.8 billion, up from $13.9 billion.
Total operating expenses were $18 billion in the first half of 2025, up from $16.2 billion in the first half of 2024. Salaries, wages and benefits were $10.3 billion, up from $9.4 billion. Supplies and drugs were $4.2 billion, up from $3.6 billion.
The system reported a net income of $2 billion in the first half of 2025, up from $1.3 billion during the same period last year.
