Eleven-hospital PeaceHealth, which has said it will close five clinics as well as eliminate positions, was downgraded to “A-” July 7. The other system downgraded was Greenville, N.C.-based Vidant Health to “A” because of recent operating losses, S&P said.

Three standalone hospitals were also downgraded during the month.

At the same time as the downgrades, six healthcare entities saw their outlooks revised downward while just one, Oklahoma City-based OU Health, saw its outlook raised. There were no credit upgrades during the month.
