14 hospitals, health systems recognized for high performance in revenue cycle

The Healthcare Financial Management Association recently announced the 2015 winners of the MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle.

The award is given to healthcare providers “that have excelled in meeting industry standard revenue cycle benchmarks (MAP Keys), implemented the patient-centered recommendations and best practices embodied in HFMA’s Healthcare Dollars & Sense initiatives, and achieved outstanding patient satisfaction,” according to HFMA. 

Here are the seven hospital systems and seven individual hospitals that received this recognition.

Winning hospital systems:

  • Baylor Scott & White – North Texas Division (Dallas).
  • Geisinger Health System (Danville, Pa.).
  • INTEGRIS Health (Oklahoma City).
  • OhioHealth (Dublin, Ohio).
  • Presbyterian Healthcare Service (Albuquerque, N.M.).
  • Saint Francis Health System (Tulsa, Okla.).
  • Virtua Health (Marlton, N.J.).

Winning individual hospitals:

  • Dallas County Hospital (Perry, Iowa).
  • Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center (Tualatin, Ore.).
  • Princeton Baptist Medical Center (Birmingham, Ala.).
  • St. Luke’s Hospital (Chesterfield, Mo.).
  • Texas Health Resource – Alliance (Fort Worth).
  • Trinity Mother Frances Hospital (Tyler, Texas).
  • The Valley Hospital (Ridgewood, N.J.).
