The new center for excellence at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport will add four stories to the hospital’s tower, replacing a current medical office building. The $100 million building will house operating rooms, medical and surgical suites, and critical care units, with the intention of offering full trauma services by 2020.

The remaining $13 million will transform UPMC Susquehanna’s cancer center into the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Additions will include exam rooms, open chemotherapy bays, private chemotherapy rooms and office space.
