The expansion would add a second catheterization lab, 15 examination rooms for the cardiac and pulmonary clinic and a rehabilitation gym in addition to stress testing, echo testing pulmonary, EKG and nuclear medicine capabilities.
If the hospital’s certificate of need application is approved by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board, construction would begin this fall. The nearly $31.2 million project would be financed through bond sales, pledges and donations.
