Our Lady of the Lake to open $230M children’s hospital Oct. 5

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La., will open its $230 million children’s hospital to patients Oct. 5, according to The Advocate.

The six-story hospital will have 80 patient beds, a pediatric emergency room, an oncology unit and a surgical unit. The children’s hospital campus will also house a 95,000-square-foot medical office building next to the hospital.

Construction began more than three years ago.
