The 160,000-square-foot corporate headquarters will consolidate 800 employees in one complex. The headquarters is still being designed.
John Fraser, president and CEO of Methodist Health System, said the old administrative offices — which are based in a couple of buildings near Methodist Hospital — require upgrades to meet IT demands.
Pending city approval, construction of the headquarters may start in mid-2017 and reach completion late in 2018. The cost of the investment was not unveiled, according to the report.
