4 facts on Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg’s $93.6M family center

Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, Pa., celebrated the opening of its family health pavilion Monday during a ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to a report on lehighvalleylive.com.

Here are four things to know.

1. The pavilion is four stories.

2. It features a maternity ward and inpatient physical therapy center, as well as space for future growth, according to the report. The units are slated to open Wednesday.

3. The total cost of the project is $93.6 million.

4. Hospital officials expect about 2,000 babies to be born at the pavilion annually, according to the report.
