Eduardo Conrado is president and CEO of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit and Catholic health systems in the world, with operations across roughly two dozen states and the District of Columbia and a workforce of approximately 131,000.
Mr. Conrado became president and CEO in 2026, succeeding Joseph Impicciche, after serving as president beginning in 2023. He joined Ascension in 2018 as executive vice president and chief strategy and innovation officer, leading digital and data strategy, consumer engagement and care-delivery operations.
Before healthcare, he spent more than two decades at Motorola and Motorola Solutions, where he held senior roles including CMO and chief innovation officer, bringing a distinctive technology and strategy background to his healthcare leadership. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Texas Tech University, an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona, and a master’s in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
Recognized among healthcare’s top innovators, he is known for bringing strategy, innovation and operational focus to one of the nation’s largest health systems. His leadership emphasizes mission, transformation and the integration of technology into care, and he is regarded as a forward-looking executive guiding Ascension through industry change.
