The six surveyed users gave the platform a score of 91 out of 100. Customers praised the platform for following through on vendor commitments and delivering important data to providers without disrupting the workflow.
While all six customers said they would purchase the software again, some did point out inconsistencies between the Payer Platform and the Epic EHR.
An anonymous executive in the report said, “the payer space is new to Epic, so we educated Epic a lot along the way. We have identified some challenges in the process of clinical document exchanges or with some of the other use cases that are specific to payer needs.”
