Through Epic Community Connect, Slocum-Dickson Medical Group will gain access to Mohawk Valley Health System’s Epic EHR system, allowing providers from both organizations to share patient charts, facilitate orders and referrals, and receive real-time updates on shared patients, according to a Feb. 28 news release.
The integration is expected to enhance care quality by ensuring that clinicians have the most up-to-date medical information at their fingertips.
